For more than 30 years, we have been offering our customers a wide range of precision tools for the most demanding requirements - both standard and customized special tools.
In the field of tools for small part machining, forexample, SIMTEK stands for one of the most comprehensive and efficient tooling ranges on the market:
With our two product groups SIMTEK simturn AX and SIMTEK simturn DX, we already offer around 4,000 standard tools for a wide range of machining operations in bores with diameters as of 0.3 mm and above.
In addition, our standard range includes tool systems for external turning operations, internal turning operations in larger diameters, modular tool solutions for milling operations, solid carbide tools, tools for broaching, for gear milling, for thread whirling and much more.
As part of a revision of the SIMTEK standard range, we have made extensive changes to the current SIMTEK standard range R25.
Most important: All product groups and main applications (grooving, boring, threading, etc.) within the product groups are still available as before.
Major change: As part of this adjustment, the number of cutting grades in which a tool will be offered from now on has been reduced. Among other things, this adjustment will mean that we will be able to offer you this reduced number of cutting grades with even better stock availability in the future. When making this adjustment to the range, we have also attached great importance to offering you primarily those grades from our in-house GRADIUM cutting grades that offer a particularly wide range of applications and high performance at the same time.
We ask for your understanding if this product range adjustment means that, contrary to the information in the R25 catalog, we will no longer be able to offer you all cutting materials for every tool.
