Within the product group simturn AX, SIMTEK expands its standard range by adding a length-variable tooling system consisting of a steel toolholder with the patented ME clamping system* as well as a cutting insert for the boring of bores starting at Ø 4.7 mm (0.185") with a variable usable length between 13.0 mm and 48.0 mm (0.512" and 1.890"), thus offering an ideal solution to meet this challenge.

Thanks to the patented ME-clamping system*, this tool system can be precisely and steplessly adjusted in length as required and offers highest stability for boring applications in bores starting at Ø 4,7 mm (0.185"). As a result, this versatile tool system can reduce the need for a new purchase at the start of a new components series, especially in small batch production!
