SENIOR ANALOG DESIGN ENGINEER (Dresden)

DESCRIPTION

We are in immediate need of an IT Manager. This position is responsible for the timely and quality delivery of system services including 24/7 data center, network hardware systems, networking operating software, messaging, LAN, WAN, desktop services and support, end user services and support, telecommunications services and support and related quality systems management functions enterprise wide.

  • This person will define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • The position is responsible for IT worldwide, and will report to the Vice President of Worldwide Operations.

GENERAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages the information technology department in accordance with organizational policies and goals. Ensures proper functioning of company's information processing system and makes upgrades as necessary. Helps business operations utilize information systems to improve efficiency. Keeps computer equipment hardware, and software updates to meet organizational needs. Follows appropriate programming procedures.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and problem solving skills with a high degree of integrity and discretion and the ability to multi-task.
  • Minimum of 5 years professional IT operations management
  • A strong background in project management
  • Strong attention to details and documentation.
  • Experience with ERP systems, and Microsoft SQL
  • Experience in a manufacturing company/environment a strong plus.
  • Experience in a global/multi-national environment.
  • Current technical expertise in the development and implementation of local and wide area network systems, desktop operations, and related communications infrastructure.
  • Strong TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, FTP, V-LAN, Cisco Pix, Cisco Switches & Routers, VPN and SNMP knowledge.
  • Knowledge of network and internet security, network intrusion prevention, vulnerability testing, authentication and encryption.
  • Knowledge of web services, web servers, web-based applications deployments.
  • Extensive application support experience with Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Symantec Anti-Virus, and Citrix MetaFrame.
  • Solid knowledge of Unix and Linux platforms.

EDUCATION

Minimum of BSEE. MSEE is highly preferred, but can substitute additional experience in lieu of advanced degree.

DESCRIPTION

As a member of the failure analysis group, the successful candidate will assist in the development of Automotive Products Certification for our non-volatile SRAM products. Responsibilities include working closely with other engineering groups in Simtek, suppliers and subcontractors, and customers.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of ten years experience in semiconductor memory Failure Analysis.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Self-starter, responsible for all aspects of Failure Analysis originating from internal reliability test, qualifications, yield improvement, and customer returns.
  • Experience in Root Cause Analysis, FEMA and Zero Defects programs is essential.
  • Proven ability to relate defects to circuit design, wafer foundry, assembly process, wafer level and package test issues.
  • Broad knowledge of applications issues as they relate to memory function.
  • Strong attention to details and documentation.

EDUCATION

Minimum of BSEE. MSEE is highly preferred, but can substitute additional experience in lieu of advanced degree.

As a member of the memory design group, the successful candidate will be involved in the design of non-volatile memory products with an emphasis on the analog portions of these chips. Responsibilities will include chip architecture, circuit design, circuit simulation and silicon verification.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 5 to 7 years experience in design of analog circuits, preferably as applied to non-volatile integrated circuits.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Experience is design of one or more of the following basic analog blocks: band gap generators, voltage regulators, low power oscillators, current references, high voltage charge pumps, DAC.
  • Experience in transistor level simulator such is SPICE or its equivalent.
  • Strong background in device physics and non volatile technologies.
  • Strong verification and test bench debug skills.
  • Knowledge of operation of high density semiconductor memories.
  • Good documentation and communication skills.

EDUCATION

Minimum of BSEE. MSEE is highly preferred, but can substitute additional experience in lieu of advanced degree.
